Digital Compass Activity and Digital Driver’s License

The resource containing these two activities is from the Digital Citizenship in Schools handbook (Ribble, M. & Bailey, G. 2007).

The Digital Compass activity provides students with ten different scenarios and a digital compass to choose the direction they think the technology user should take.

The Digital Driver’s License activity is in two parts; an Elementary License and a Secondary License.  Each part contains multi-choice questions [ with answers provided] and an assessment rubric.

Ribble believes “everyone has an internal compass, but adults need to teach children how to find and use it.”
