Digital audio learning tools – EUSD iRead

This is a website constructed by teachers interested in literacy amongst students. Ths site promotes the use of iPods, mics, Garageband, iTunes, Keynote, and various accessories . The teachers on the iRead website above have moved to the ipod touch devices as there are many more applications available to the user.  While the focus is on reading skills with some key creative applications such as Voice Recorder, iTalk, Speakeasy, SonicPics, ReelDirector, etc., creative teachers are finding many other ways to extend students’ minds and skills, including blogging about literature.  Click on the screen capture above to be directed to the site.

A database of free apps are also available by clicking the link HERE
